For ARTi Architect, this philosophy is not just a quote but a guiding principle in their architectural journey. Drawing inspiration from renowned architects like Wright, ARTi Architect embraces nature as a cornerstone of their design ethos.
A Journey of Growth
After four years as a junior architect in Klongsarn district, the founder of ARTi Architect yearned for a deeper connection to nature. The allure of towering trees, the aroma of the river, and the earthy touch of grass became irresistible. Like a bird seeking new horizons, the architect embarked on a journey of self-discovery, craving a space that resonated with their vision of an ideal office.
Creating a Sanctuary
Fate intervened when ARTi Architect acquired an empty third floor in a townhouse on Charoenrat road. Contrary to conventional office spaces, this blank canvas offered an opportunity to reimagine the workspace. Following Wright’s principles, the architect chose to sacrifice 15% of the area on the north and east sides to create a trees-balcony. Comprising cobblestone floors, concrete planters, wooden decking, and gravel, this outdoor oasis blurs the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces, inviting occupants to reconnect with nature.
Designing for Harmony
The floor plan of ARTi Architect Office is meticulously organized into four zones: the main office area, a shared meeting room, a rental space for lighting design/graphic design, and the trees-balcony accessible from every zone. By integrating nature into the workspace, ARTi Architect aims to foster a conducive environment that nurtures creativity and inspiration. The office is envisioned as a place where employees find equilibrium between work and relaxation, while visitors are captivated by the seamless integration of nature into the urban fabric.
