This led to the decision to commission an extension, situated in the northwest of the existing building.

The new building, characterized by its one-story, monolithic appearance, stands independently on a verdant lawn, exuding a sense of minimalist clarity. It comprises 33 equivalent single rooms arranged around a spacious courtyard. This central atrium, accessible from every room, fosters ventilation throughout the building and provides an inviting space for residents to relax.

A central entrance hall serves as a seamless link between the new and old wings of the facility. Additionally, a day café has been incorporated into this area, serving as a new hub for residents and their families to socialize. Administrative functions have also been relocated to this central space, enhancing accessibility and convenience for both staff and visitors.
