Embracing Tradition and Tranquility
Nestled in the historic resort of St. st. Constantine and Helena, Bulgaria’s oldest resort, Aquahouse Hotel & SPA stands as the newest gem in the area. Located just 10km from Varna, it boasts the distinction of being one of the largest spa hotels on the Black Sea coast and the sole hotel in the country with an independent public SPA facility nearby – Aquahouse Thermal & Beach.
A Haven of Greenery and History
The resort is renowned for its lush greenery, with some specimens imported from France during its establishment in 1908. Within the hotel’s plot area, numerous black pine trees punctuate the landscape, meticulously integrated into the master plan. Original hotels and restaurants were razed to make way for the new construction, with the footprint carefully aligned to preserve the majority of the existing trees.
Harmonizing with Nature
Taking cues from the surrounding natural beauty, the hotel’s design aims to complement rather than compete with the mesmerizing pine trees. Soft sand tones dominate the architectural palette, creating a cohesive backdrop of plaster and limestone. The minimalist aesthetic is punctuated by classical elements, with the standout feature being the flattened arch. Symbolizing the sea arches found along the nearby coastline, these arches adorn the façades, framing expansive windows that invite the outdoors into each room.
Luxurious Amenities and Serene Spaces
With a serene SPA on level -1 and five outdoor pools, Aquahouse Hotel & SPA and Aquahouse Thermal & Beach offer guests year-round access to hot mineral water from one of the seven natural sources in the resort. Boasting a total of 420 rooms and apartments, as well as several restaurants, a pool bar, a steakhouse, and a conference room, the hotel provides ample amenities for discerning guests. The interior design mirrors the hotel’s tranquil ambiance, featuring spacious layouts bathed in earth tones, exuding an atmosphere of relaxation and comfort.
